Christie (Sylling) Dickens

Christie LaVonne Dickens (Noyes), 53, Casselton, ND, passed away Friday August 28th, 2020 in the hospital surrounded by her babies. 

   Christie was born on August 8th, 1967 in Whittier, CA to Bob and Judy Possen with siblings Mark, Scott, Tricia, and Robbie.

   Mom loved her siblings very much and even though they didn't always see eye to eye, like brothers and sisters do, she tried her best to stay close to their lives. Christie graduated from Interstate business college, while working nights in nursing homes, and raising her children.  One thing I'll never forget about my mom was her drive for something she loved. Christie worked her butt off for her family, friends, and even those she didn't know well but were in need.  Her favorite job was following in her daddy's footsteps and working in the trucking business. She worked as a dispatcher for J-mar and later Royal logistics.

   She is survived by her daughter Ciara and husband Paul Hearne, son Loren and wife Susan Dickens, daughter Chyan Dickens and Deion Tumblin, and son Brayden Dickens. Grandchildren,  Kenadi Dickens, Ceyenna Dickens, Leia Dickens, Aaliyah Tumblin, Bryson Hearne, Tobyn Hearne, Ayden Dickens, Paul (Tre) Hearne, and Demetrius Dickens. Parents Bob and Judy Possen, siblings Mark and Shannon Bray, Scott and Donna Noyes, Tricia, and Robbie and Julie Noyes.

   She was preceded in death by her daughter Kenadi Dickens,  March 28th, 1996.

   Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday September 2nd, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at West Funeral Home, West Fargo, ND.  Reception to follow at Lake Crest 703 31st Avenue west, West Fargo. *We Miss You Mom*

    I thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday, and the day before that too.  I think of you in silence, I often speak your name. All I have are memories and your picture in a frame. Your memory is my keepsake, with which we'll never part. God has you in his keeping, I have you always!
