Charlotte Baenen

Charlotte M. Baenen, age 79, of Fargo, ND, died Thursday, November 11, 2021, at St. Catherine South, Fargo.

Charlotte Marie Volkman was born November 2, 1942, west of Jamestown, ND, in Deer Lake Township, the daughter of Ewald and Evelyn (Roe) Volkman.   She grew up at Buchanan, ND, where she attended country school, followed by high school at Jamestown.

On June 8, 1963, Charlotte was united in marriage to Vernon “Buck” Baenen at Jamestown.  They lived at Fargo, ND, and one son Eric was born to them. 

She was a member of Olivet Lutheran Church, Fargo.

Charlotte is survived by her husband Buck Baenen.

She was preceded in death by her son Eric, her parents and one brother.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to a charity of the donor’s choice are requested.

Service:   2 pm Thursday, November 18, 2021, in West Funeral Home, West Fargo, with Visitation held one hour prior to her service. 

Burial:  Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, at a later date.
