Charles (Chuck) Walker

   On Sunday, February 15, 2026, Charles Walker, 88, West Fargo, formerly of Minot, ND passed away in his home.

   Chuck was born May 29, 1937, in Minot ND to Anne and Clarence Walker.

   Chuck graduated from Minot Model High School in 1955. He enlisted in the United States Navy and following his Honorable Discharge, he attended Minot State College where he met Diane Thom. They were married in Minot, ND, on July 3, 1958.

   Upon attaining their degrees in education, Chuck and Diane taught in schools in ND, CA, and WA. While teaching in Enumclaw, Washington, Chuck earned his flying ratings and returned to ND where he was a flight instructor int eh aviation department at the University of ND. He was also a flight instructor in the Civil Air Patrol. He and Diane returned to Minot, ND where he was involved in real estate for over 30 years.

   Their marriage was blessed by four children; Jeff (Julie), Carrie (Dave), Charles (Abby), and Carole (Matthew), ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, all who survive him.

   Chuck is also survived by his sister, Carol.

   Chuck was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters Ruth, Louise, Virginia; and brothers, Clinton, Kenneth, Art, Dick, and Jim.

   A private family service will be held at West Funeral Home, West Fargo, followed by interment at Fargo National Cemetery, rural Harwood, ND.
