Carol Quam

  Carol Ann Quam, 93, of West Fargo, N.D., passed away on December 29, 2020 at Ecumen Evergreens Fargo.

  Carol was born in Glyndon, Minnesota on June 30, 1927 to Harold and Esther Prichard.  She graduated from Glyndon High School and attended N.D.A.C. (N.D.S.U.). She was a dancer and gymnast and was proud of performing for Queen Elizabeth in 1939. She was united in marriage to Wilber T. Quam in 1947 and blessed with three wonderful sons.

   She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, West Fargo, N.D., and was an active auxiliary member of the West Fargo V.F.W.. She loved her work at Bonanzaville and the Fargo Welcome Center. Carol was fun-loving and the center of many social gatherings at Sheyenne Estates, West Fargo for over 50 years.

   She is survived by her three sons, Thomas (Diane), Larkspur, CO, Timothy (Shelley), Fargo, N.D., and Todd (Karlynn), Las Vegas, NV; her loving sister, Janice Scott, Fargo; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and several close nieces and nephews.

   She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sisters Delores Quam (John), Mavis Sunde (Lloyd).

   Per Carol’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. There will be celebration of her life with an intimate gathering of close friends and family at a later date.
