Bruce Bondy

Bruce Galen Bondy, 61, of Fargo, North Dakota, passed away on November 5th, 2023.

Bruce was born on March 19th, 1962, to Judy and Galen Bondy in Grafton, North Dakota. His early schooling took place in East Grand Forks and Oakes, North Dakota. After graduating from T.F. Riggs High School in Pierre, South Dakota in 1980, he went on to obtain both a Master of Arts Educational Psychology & Counseling and a Bachelor of Science Mass Communications at the University of South Dakota.

After graduation, his first job was a Residential Life Coordinator at Ohio Wesleyan University and later served as a Mental Health Therapist at The Village Family Service Center, South Dakota State Women’s Prison, and at the Colorado West Regional Mental Health Center.

Bruce was a passionate fan of arts and could often be found catching live music or attempting to crack the meaning of the universe with his friends. Anyone who knew Bruce knew his knack for being an exceptional listener and someone you could vent frustrations or conundrums to. He was always there for you when you needed him. His unique persona left an impression on you that was not easy to forget. Bruce was the finest father his children could have ever asked for.

Bruce was predeceased by his father Galen. He is survived by his mother Judy Bondy, his siblings Laurie Dalbey, Tammy Hanson, Brian Bondy, and Lisa Bondy Wubben, his daughters Raina Bondy and Hannah Bondy, his son Samuel Bondy, granddaughter Kate Chrastka, his brothers-in-law Jim Hanson and Thomas Wubben, and his sister-in-law Lisa Bondy.
