Bobby Brown Obituary

Bobby Allen Brown, 50, went home to be with the Lord on July 4, 2026.

Bobby was born April 8, 1976, in Cavalier, ND; he was the middle child to Ray and Susan Brown. He graduated from Cavalier High School in 1994. He attended North Dakota State College of Science and got an associate’s degree in construction management in 1997.

Bobby worked in the construction area and eventually started Traill Painting Company in 2011 and he poured his heart and soul into his company and touched many lives over the years providing excellent service to the general contractors he worked with closely.

In 2008 and 2009 Bobby was blessed with two beautiful daughters, Harmon and Bently Brown. He met the love of his life, Amanda Brown in 2012 and they got married November 2, 2013, and they were blessed with their beautiful daughter Kinly in 2015.

Bobby was very passionate about his family and helping others. Bobby had the biggest heart and would do anything for anyone in need. He found joy in and loved watching and cheering on his daughters and nephews during their sporting events.

Bobby loved the Lord and was not afraid to talk about his faith and how the Lord continued to provide in his life. Bobby’s testimony has brought many to know Jesus and for that we are very proud.

Bobby enjoyed many hobbies including lifting weights, golfing, relaxing at the lake, watching storms, watching dirt track car racing, playing pinochle, watching UND hockey – GO Sioux, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs – Go Chiefs.

Bobby will be missed by many. His bear hugs, wittiness, sarcasm and ability to make people smile and laugh will be missed. We cling to the amazing memories made with Bobby as he lived his life to the fullest every day and he brought many along that journey with him, blessing them with experiences and memories that will last a lifetime.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Amanda Brown, his children Kinly Brown of Fargo and Harmon Brown, Bently Brown of Hastings, MN; his mother Susan Brown of Fargo; his brother David (Nicole) Brown of Dilworth; his sister Barbie (Scott) Hoffarth of Fargo; his nephews Shaun Brown, Brady Brown, Espen Westby and niece Gianna Westby; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.   Also by his beloved dogs Mocha and Chester.

He was preceded in death by his father Ray Brown; grandparents Alex and Marlys Brown; grandparents Leonard and Lorraine Hartje, aunt Audrey Hartje, great uncle Norman “Butch” Cole; great uncle Ronnie “Red” Freschette; high school best friend Shaun Kemnitz and beloved dog Axel “Super Grover”.
