Beverly Prischmann

Beverly Prischman, age 87, of Fargo, ND, died Friday, May 12, 2023, at Eventide, Fargo.

Beverly Jean McKay was born on November 14, 1935, in Fargo, ND, the daughter of Walter and Janette (Kringler) McKay.  She was raised at Wheatland, ND and graduated from high school there. She moved to West Fargo, ND, where she worked at West Fargo State Bank.

On May 18, 1957, Bev married Clifford Prischmann in Martin’s Lutheran Church, Casselton, ND.

They made their home in Casselton where they raised three kids.  Cliff died December 11,  1983.  She moved to West Fargo in 1984.  Bev later moved to Fargo and entered Eventide in February 2022.

Bev established the grief support program at West Funeral Home in West Fargo & Casselton and led the local widow/widower’s group for 10 years.  She had also worked as a sales associate for dresses & coats at Daytons in Fargo after Cliff’s death.   An avid Elvis and Wayne Newton music fan, Bev loved music and attending concerts.  Her family remembers her being loving and accepting, non-judgmental and kind to all.  She had many, many friends in the communities she lived in, including Eventide.    Bev was a “Social Butterfly” and had always planned family reunion events.   Her favorite thing in the world was rocking in her tattered rocking chair, talking on the phone to her family and friends, coloring with her colored pencils in her coloring books, and doing crossword puzzles. She subscribed to every magazine known to man, and she absolutely loved to read. 

She is survived by her children, Lynne Huseby, Fargo, Keith (Sherrie) Prischmann, Kindred, ND,  and Kim (Jeff) Lien, Osage, MN; her grandchildren: Dustin Gustafson, Ashley Anderson, Trevor Prischmann, Kayla Prischmann, Cody Lien and Dillon Lien; great-grandchildren Jordan, Grace, James, Jaxon, Ava and Kora.

Bev was preceded in death by parents, husband, and her sister & brother-in-law, Carole and Billy Gray.

Bev’s family would like to thank her nursing staff at Eventide for the wonderful care she received. 

Funeral Service: Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 10 AM in West Funeral Home, West Fargo, with visitation held one hour prior to her service.

Interment: Casselton Cemetery, Casselton, ND
