Beverly (Rusdal) Hage

Bev Hage of West Fargo passed away on Monday, Sept. 30, 2024 at Sheyenne Crossings at the age of 92.

Beverly Mae Rusdal was born on Sept. 25, 1932 at Halstad, MN to Sidney and Vera (Spittler) Rusdal. She attended country school and graduated from high school in Halstad, MN. Bev received her RN degree from St. Luke’s Hospital in Fargo and worked for a year in Chicago, IL before moving to Denver, CO where she worked for two years. Bev married Philip L. Hage on November 3, 1956 at Messiah Lutheran Church in Fargo, ND. They made their home in Fargo for a short time before moving to West Fargo. She worked at the Fargo Clinic until 1977 when she was forced to retire due to health concerns.

Beverly was active at Faith Lutheran Church in West Fargo with the Rachel Circle and as a Sunday School Teacher. She volunteered with Head Start and was a member of the West Fargo VFW Auxiliary.

She is survived by children, Richard “Dick” (Linda) of Horace, Debra (Randy) Messer of Duluth and Denise (Dale) Thompson of Detroit Lakes, MN; 7 Grandchildren: Brian (Charissa) Hage, Alicia (Curt) Ward, Zachary (Jacquelyn) Messer, Christopher (Sylvia) Messer, Kelsi Jo (Seth) Williams, Jacob (Mara) Thompson and Joshua (Hallie) Thompson; and 11 Great Grandchildren,

Bev was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Phil; and grandson, Andrew Messer

Funeral Service: Saturday, Oct 5, 2024 at 11 AM at Faith Journey Lutheran Church, West Fargo, ND with visitation one hour prior.

Interment: Riverside Cemetery, Fargo.
