Betty Ann Mark Hill, of West Fargo, passed away on 10/25/23, after a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be held at Lutheran Church of the Cross, West Fargo with Pastor Megan Tee officiating. Interment will be held at Horace Lutheran Cemetery, Horace ND.
Betty was born on May 8, 1948, the youngest daughter of Roy and Agnes (Olson) Hill. She grew up in Staples, MN and was a 1966 honor graduate of Staples High School. She attended Staples Vocational Technical School post high school graduation. She became secretary to the guidance counselor at Staples High School. Betty moved to West Fargo, ND where she remained until her passing.
She was blessed with four sons from an earlier marriage. Her sons were what her life was all about. Home and family were her priority. Betty loved to do outdoor activities, including gardening, biking, walking, landscaping, lawn care, and fishing. She loved to read and loved animals, especially dogs. Her hobbies included collecting angles, trinkets, kerosine lamps, and bells. She loved music and dancing. She loved to read and loved animals, especially dogs. Her family and friends were very important to her.
She enjoyed doing sales and marketing. She was employed by ABC Seamless of Fargo until she became disabled and had to retire. Betty worked with First Link in the past. She and two other mothers reformed Suicide Survival Support Group in Fargo. She was a big supporter of St. Jude’s Research Hospital. She enjoyed teaching Sunday School and confirmation classes at her church. She loved the Lord.
Betty is survived by her son Joshua and her twin granddaughters, Abigail and Micala Molter (Mark). She is survived by two nephews, Matthew Hall and Michael Hosner, and four nieces, Lori Hall, Darlys (Jon) Hamburg, Deanna Genz, and Darlene Walstrom.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Agnes (Olson) Hill, two sisters Louise Drajna and Carol Hall, and her brother Carl Hill and one nephew, Dean Hall. She was preceded in death by three of her sons. Troy Mark, Jamie Mark, and Nathan Mark.
Funeral services 1pm Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Lutheran Church of the Cross, West Fargo with Pastor Megan Tee officiating.
Interment at Horace Lutheran Cemetery, Horace ND.
