Ann Thorsteinson Obituary

   Ann E. Thorsteinson, 64, of Wahpeton, ND died Friday, September 20, 2019, at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo.

   Ann Elise Thorsteinson was born December 11, 1954, in St. John’s Hospital in Fargo, the daughter of V. Ray and Caroline Margaret (Houge) Thorsteinson. Ann was raised and educated in Dilworth, MN, graduating in 1973.  She furthered her education at Moorhead State College graduating with a degree in Music.  After teaching a year, Ann attended NDSU specializing in Computer Science and Accounting.  She then was employed as an office manager at Webb Enterprises,  R & S Casework and Meinecke-Johnson.

   Ann’s  life was her siblings, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.  Family was everything to her.  She was about music, math and memory.  Ann loved to sing, do crossstitch, puzzles and was the family historian and remembering all family relationships.  Ann was a member of Faith Journey Lutheran Church and former choir member in West Fargo.

   Left to share in her memory are siblings:  Randi Keller of Fergus Falls, MN,  Carla Thorsteinson and Todd Thorsteinson both of Henderson, NV,  Scott (Beth) Thorsteinson of Wahpeton, ND and Jeff (Kathy) Thorsteinson of Cedar Rapids, IA; nieces and nephews:  Matthew (Pam) Keller of Chico, CA,  Joanna (Dean) Pawlisch of Brookfield, WI,  Michael (Anne) Thorsteinson of Henderson, NV,  Karen Thorsteinson of Seneca, SC,  Kerry Thorsteinson of Wahpeton,  Amanda (significant other, Peter) Thorsteinson of Fergus Falls, MN,  Caroline (Nick) Schwantz ,  Rebecca Thorsteinson and Patrick Thorsteinson all of Wahpeton, ND,  Greg Thorsteinson of Cedar Rapids, IA,  Dan (significant other, Chloe) Thorsteinson of Kansas City, MO and Matt (significant other, Katie) Thorsteinson of Coralville, IA;  grand-nieces and nephews:  James, Luke & John “Jack” Keller, Everette, Magnus & Truman Pawlisch,  August Stuehenberg & Branch Schwantz and Amira Thorsteinson;  aunts:  Elaine Thorsteinson of New Palestine, IN and Mae (Herb) Heideman in Oregon and Lu Fuller of Moorhead, MN; uncle:  Clyde (Janelle) Houge of Minot, ND.

   Preceding her in death:  parents and a brother-in-law:  James Keller.

Visitation:  An hour before the service in the church

Funeral:   11 a.m. Monday, September 23, 2019 at Faith & Journey Lutheran Church in West Fargo.
