Timothy Herzog

Timothy Erwin Herzog, age 71 of Fargo, ND passed away August 11, 2017 at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND.

Tim was born on September 27, 1945 in Grafton, ND, the son of Erwin and Estelle (Kuehner) Herzog of Cavalier, ND where he grew up and graduated from Cavalier High School in 1964. Following graduation, he attended Mayville State University.  He married Judith Mahar on June 2, 1967. They recently celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary.  Tim owned and operated Erwin Motors, a Chrysler dealership in Cavalier, ND from 1976-1999.  After selling the dealership, Tim worked at Rydell Chevrolet in Grand Forks as a salesman and later the sales manager.  In retirement, Tim and Judy split their time between Fort Myers, FL and Park Rapids, MN.  They moved to Fargo in 2015. 

He is survived by his wife, Judith, children Beth (Todd) Olson, Fargo, ND; Paul (Tara), Fargo, ND; and Matthew (Herryn), Glastonbury, CT.  He was the proud grandfather of David, Katelyn, McKinzie, Cole, Max, Kate, Henry, Jake and Greta.  He is also survived by his sister, Penelope (Mark) Green, Minneapolis, MN and by his brother, Michael (Linda), Phoenix, AZ.

Tim is preceded in death by his father and mother; and granddaughter, Anna Virginia.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at the Sts. Anne and Joachim Catholic Church, 5202 25th St. S., Fargo, ND with a gathering of family and friends one hour prior to the service. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
