Pamela Jean Johnson was born on November 30, 1947 in Britton, SD to Loren and Cleo (Erlandson) Johnson and grew up in Havana, ND. She attended school in Havana graduating from Havana High School in 1965.
Pam married Duane Silseth on June 19, 1965 and together they raised three children. They lived in Rolla, ND from 1965-1968. In 1968 they moved to Arthur, ND for 2 years before moving to Hunter in 1970 where they made their home until moving to Fargo in 1990. Pam had just retired in October, 2017 from Matrix Properties in Fargo, ND.
She enjoyed bowling and golf until the disease in her lungs prevented her from doing those things. Bingo then became an activity that she enjoyed and shared with many friends until her recent hospitalization. Pam was a very supportive mom and grandmother attending and cheering (you could always hear her) at all the activities she could get to. Pam was inducted into the Fargo Moorhead Women’s Bowling Hall of Fame in 2012.
On Tuesday, April 17, 2018 after spending 32 days in the ICU on a ventilator she gained her wings surrounded by her family.
Pam is survived by; Daughters: Missy (Ron) Leraas, Hunter, ND, Wendy (Jesse) Bring, Galesburg, ND, and Son: Jason (Katie) Silseth, Fargo, ND; Grandchildren: Cassie Leraas (Jamie Kallenbach), Adam Leraas, Austen Leraas, Ben Bring, Hayden Bring, Noah Bring, Payton Silseth, Laynee Silseth, Jake Silseth; Great Granddaughter: Nora; Father: Loren Johnson, Britton, SD, Sisters: Candace (Randy) Gerken, Britton, SD, Lori Greenmyer, Britton, several brother and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, husband, brother and granddaughter Brittnee Jo Bring.
Visitation: Friday, April 20, 2018 from 5 to 7 PM with a prayer service at 7 PM at Hope Lutheran Church – South Campus, Fargo.
Funeral: Saturday at 10:30 AM at Hope Lutheran Church – South Campus with visitation one hour prior.
Interment: Havana Cemetery.
