Mildred Paulus, 92, of Fargo, died Saturday, June 2, 2018, at her home surrounded by family and under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.
Mildred Evelyn Paulus was born September 11, 1925, in Wheatland, ND, to Fred and Ella (Behr) Rieniets. She attended school in Hunter, ND. Millie then worked at Ellison’s Department Store in Minot, attended Minot Business College and was employed at Voeller’s Furniture Store. Millie and Leo Paulus were married June 5, 1946, and blessed with two children, Mary and Mark. They lived in Minot prior to moving to Sun City West, AZ. Several years following Leo’s death, Millie moved to Fargo.
Millie loved vacationing with her family, reading, crocheting and playing cards with family and friends.
Grateful for having shared in her life is a daughter: Mary (Ray) Romon of Oronoco, MN; granddaughter: Michelle Romon of Fargo; sisters: Margorie Beecher of Fargo and Gloria Ulrich of Dickenson; 2 aunts: Muriel and Lois Rieniets; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceding her in death is her husband, Leo; son: Mark; parents; 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
In lieu of floral arrangements, memorials preferred to Hospice of the Red River Valley or a charity of your choice
Visitation: 6 to 7 p.m. followed by the 7 p.m. funeral Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at Lutheran Church of the Cross in West Fargo.
Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens in Minot, ND.
