Martha Irene (Bryner) Ostern

Martha Irene Ostern, 74, of Moorhead, was called home by God Saturday, July 22nd 2017 surrounded by her four children under the care of Hospice and the Veterans Hospital in Fargo. 

Martha was born and raised in Dunbar PA. She joined the Navy January 3, 1964  and was honorably discharged August 1, 1966.  She met a Marine, Charles Ostern, in Memphis TN. They fell in love and we're married within a year,  on December 5 1964 and were married for 46 years before Charles joined God in 2011. 

Martha was a care giver her life through. She raised her kids, was a daycare mamma for friends and loved and cared for her grand babies. She was a social butterfly as a bartender for a while and could craft, sew, reupholster and tackle any project with creativity and care. 

She's left this life on earth to watch over from heaven, her children Carolyn (Adam) Chappell, Charles Ostern, Marty (Nicole) Ostern, Rita (Ryan) Hagen and seven grandchildren Tyler, Taylor, Elaina, Taylor, Sofia, Mia, Baylor and her brother David Bryner. 

Martha has joined her husband Charles, her mother and father Martha and Raymond Bryner two brothers, Samuel and Daniel and her sister Betty in eternity. 

Memorial Service:   Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 1 PM at West Funeral Home, West Fargo with visitation one hour prior to the service.
