Kevin Koetz

Kevin Koetz, 50, of Casselton, ND, died Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Essentia Health in Fargo.

Kevin William Koetz was born on January 12, 1967 to Roger and Phyllis (Pfingsten) Koetz in Fargo, ND.  He attended and graduated from Chaffee High School.  On November 7, 1992, he was united in marriage to Kimberly Bergemann in Lisbon, ND. They lived on a farm near Chaffee where he raised hogs until 2010 and also worked at Embden Grain.  Kevin and Kim and family moved to Casselton in 2016.

Kevin’s proudest achievements will live on in the lives of his seven children.   He enjoyed attending all of the kids’ activities.  He had a passion for teaching his family that to win a game, you have to have all teammates working together.  His family will continue to live by that philosophy as they help each other get through this difficult time.    

Kevin is survived by his wife; Kimberly; children, Chandler (Maxwell Kollman, friend), Harrison, Autumn, Wesley, Zachary, Allison and Owen; his parents, Roger and Phyllis Koetz, Leonard; siblings, Nancy (Ken) Hagen and Bradley (Wendy) Koetz, both of Leonard, Jodi (Jerry) Seelig Lisbon and Michael (Sherry) Koetz, Fargo; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three children, William, Mary & Dorothy.

Visitation:  Monday, May 22, 2017 from 5 to 7 pm at St. Peter Lutheran Church, rural Leonard, ND.

Prayer Service:  Monday at 7 pm at the church.

Funeral:  Tuesday, May 23 at 10 am at St. Peter Lutheran Church, rural Leonard, ND.

Interment:  Watson Cemetery, rural Leonard, ND.
