Kenny Freiss

Kenneth "Kenny" Freiss, Jr, age 63, of Fargo, ND, died Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at his home under the care of his family and hospice.

Kenneth LeRoy Freiss, Jr. was born November 28, 1954, at Britton, SD, the son of Kenneth and Lucile (Kayl) Freiss.  He grew up there, graduated from high school, and then attended Lake Area Technical School at Watertown, SD for auto mechanics.  He then worked at Horton Industries at Britton.

On May 12, 1979, Kenny was united in marriage to Nancy Eberhardt at Fargo.  They lived in West Fargo, where he worked at UESC/Auto Systems of Fargo. 

He is remembered as being very artistic, with his photography and his projects around their home.  His hobbies include “cars”, riding his Harley, and listening to rock music groups such as Led Zeppelin.   Kenny was a member of First Baptist Church, and of Valley Vintage Car Club.

Kenny is survived by his wife Nancy; a daughter Nicole (Brian) Mersiovsky of Belton, TX; two grandchildren, Kobain and Lennon; his brother Charles (Cathy) Freiss, Marshall, MN; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and his in-laws.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and by Art & Thelma Eberhardt.

Kenny’s family asks that everyone dress casual for his service.  They would like to thank Hospice of the Red River Valley, and Roger Maris Cancer Center for the special care provided to him.  

Visitation:  5PM-7PM Friday, October 12, 2018, with a Prayer Service held at 7PM, all in First Baptist Church, Fargo.

Funeral:  10:30AM Saturday in First Baptist Church, 1501 17th Ave S., Fargo ND
