Kathy Goldade

Kathy A. Goldade, 69 of Fargo, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at her home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.

Kathy was born on August 23, 1950 in Harvey, North Dakota to Herbert and Ella (Kebler) Almer. She was raised in Goodrich, ND and McHenry, ND. She married Ron “Sonny” Goldade in 1985 and they lived in the Fargo area. Kathy worked various jobs including waitressing, customer service and child care until her retirement in 2016.

Kathy enjoyed taking care of children, flower gardening, baking, playing bingo, trips to the casino and spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters, Carol Kennedy and Arlys Hoyt.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Ronald “Sonny” Goldade of Fargo; children, Jason Almer of Fargo and Tracey Goldade of Santa Maria, CA; grandson, Jon Michelson of Minneapolis, MN; sister, Karla Schick of Wisconsin; special friends, Brea, Halley and Haven and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service:       Thursday, October 10, 2019 at 1:30 pm at West Funeral Home, West Fargo with visitation one hour prior to the service.
