Jon Evenson

Jon Evenson, 66, of Fargo, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2019, at his home surrounded by his family and Hospice.

Jon Patrick Evenson was born February 1, 1953, in Fargo, the son of John (Jack) & Patricia Jean (Wallace) Evenson.  He attended Moorhead High School and NDSCS Tech School in Fargo.  Jon was employed as a surveyor with Moore Engineering, Ulteig, Rittenhouse Asst, SE Land services. He also worked as a contractor, baker and Scuba Diver Instructor.  Jon and Bonnie Holler were married August 1, 2014.

Jon loved to help others and enjoyed scuba diving, baking, gardening and woodworking.

Grateful for having shared in his life, wife: Bonnie;  daughter:  Melissa (Evenson) and her husband Michael Bekkerus of Barnesville, MN; a step daughter:  Jessica Holler of Fargo;  step-son:  Travis (Christina) Holler of Fargo; grandchildren:  Jaclyn, Julia, Lillian and Ella;  brothers:  George,  Paul (Paulette),  Joel (Carol), Peter (Jodi) and Michael;  sisters:  Melanie, Carrie (Arturo) Torres, Rita (Craig) Potts, Roberta Evenson, Lia (Herb) Helgeson, Annie-Olivia Talbot and Laura (Randy) Dale; mother-in-law:  Harriet (Nels Lande) Holler;  and sister-in-law:  Connie Brewer.

Jon was preceded in death by his parents:  John and Jean Evenson.

Memorials are preferred to Hospice of the Red River Valley.

Prayer Service and a Celebration of Life will be held on a later date.
