Jerry Weyrauch

Jerry Dale Weyrauch passed away at his home on Thursday, September 21, 2017 with his family by his side.

Jerry was born May 20, 1951 in Williston, ND to A. Sidney and Doris (Bergstrom) Weyrauch. He attended Ray Public School and graduated in 1969. Jerry attended NDSU from 1969-1973, graduating with a BS degree in Agricultural Economics.

On June 15, 1973 he married his high school sweetheart, Patricia McCrary. Jerry and Patty made their home in Ray and were blessed with three children; Amy, Sara and Darren.

Jerry farmed on the family farm and worked winters with Burlington Northern Railroad, Halliburton, Tioga Gas Plant and retiring on June 1, 2017 from Northwest Communication Cooperative. 

Jerry enjoyed his family, friends, farming, traveling, fishing and hunting.

In 2014, after his first battle with cancer, Jerry and Patty moved to West Fargo to be close to their children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Patty, three children; Amy (Shannon) Fagerland, Sara (Durran) Schmidt and Darren Weyrauch. Four grandchildren; Sean Weyrauch Schmidt (Amanda Witlock), Hayley Schmidt, Lauren Fagerland, and Blake Fagerland.  His mother; Doris Weyrauch, brother; Steve Weyrauch and sister; Colleen (Scott) Braeger.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father; A. Sidney Weyrauch, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.

God rest his soul.

Visitation: 5pm to 7pm   Monday, September 25, 2017 followed by a  7 p.m. Prayer Service at West Funeral Home, West Fargo

Funeral: Tuesday,  9:30 a.m. Sept. 26, 2017, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, West Fargo ND
