Jane (Bailey) Pearson

Jane Pearson, 70, Oxbow, ND died on Sunday, Nov. 24, 2019 at Sanford Health, Fargo, ND.

Jane Marie Bailey was born Jan. 24, 1949 at Dickinson, ND to Ernest and Mary (Lisko) Bailey. She grew up in Dickinson and worked at the family tire store. She graduated from Trinity High School and went on to receive a dental hygienist degree from Wahpeton State School of Science. Jane returned to Dickinson and worked in a dental office until moving to Fargo where she continued her work as a dental hygienist. Jane married Frank W. Pearson on May 11, 1985. They lived at Oxbow, ND.

She was a member of the Catholic daughters, Nativity Church Choir and the VFW Auxiliary. Jane volunteered her dental hygienist work helping with migrant workers in the area. She enjoyed cooking, her “green thumb” gardening and cherished her many pets. Jane also enjoyed annual traveling with her girlfriends, winters in Arizona and summers at Pelican Lake.

She is survived by a daughter, Stacy of Fargo; a son Jim (Lori) of Oxbow; three grandchildren, Matthew, Carly and Jacob; two siblings, Tim (Julie) Bailey of Auburn, WA and Mary Lou (Darcy) Banning of San Tan Valley, AZ; along with her nieces and nephews, Shayna DeCory (son Sylus), Ryan (Raven) Banning (children Shailah, Braelyn & Landin), Grant (Eden) Bailey, Shaun (Ashlea) Bailey (son Elliott), Michael Bailey, Patrick Bailey and Jay Bailey, Baxter (Trisha) Pearson (children James and George) and Tyler Pearson.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank in December of 2018 and brother, Richard “Dick” Bailey.

Funeral: Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019 at 3 PM at West Funeral Home Chapel, West Fargo with visitation one hour prior and reception to follow.

Burial: Lower Wild Rice Red River Cemetery, Hickson, ND.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Hospice of the RRV or the ND Veterans Home, 1600 Veterans Drive, Lisbon, ND  58054 - designated to the “Memorial Garden" in memory of Jane Pearson, Oxbow.
