Howard D. Kalm, 71, of West Fargo, died Sunday, September 30, 2018, at Sanford Hospital in Fargo.
Howard Dale Kalm was born on July 15 1947 in Duluth Minnesota. His parents are Claude and Irene Kalm. Howard graduated from Denfeld High School and as a senior he met the love of his life, Ginger Jackson! They later married in 1967, soon to follow were their two children, Todd and Kimberly. Howard worked at Target for an impressive 43 year career! That career lead them to West Fargo, ND where they made their home in 1983.
Howard had a lifelong passion for classic cars and drag racing. He belonged to Valley Vintage Car Club and raced at Top End Dragway. He loved the quarter mile and Ginger was his number one cheerleader! Win or lose, it was all about having fun but, let's be honest, he loved winning.
Another love of his was the unconditional love he had for his grandchildren, Gavin, Emily, Hannah, Jenna and Christie.
Howard is survived by his wife- Ginger, son- Todd (Trina) Kalm, daughter- Kim (Brent) Sitzer, Brother- Jerry (Carol) Kalm, Brother- Bruce (Susan) Kalm, grandchildren- Gavin, Emily, Hannah, Jenna (Kevin) Gange, Christie (Nick) Moe and great-grandson Garret. He was preceded in death by his parents Claude and Irene Kalm .

Memorial Service: 1pm Saturday, October 13th, 2018, West Funeral Home, West Fargo.
