Grace E Larson

Grace E. Larson 86, Harwood, ND passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Elim Care Center, Fargo.

Grace Evangeline Warren was born on December 22, 1931 to Charles and Florence (Amenda) Warren. She grew up in the Lake City, MN area. Grace married Ronald W. Larson on Sept. 18, 1949. They farmed in the Millville MN area and in the early 60’s, they moved to Farmington, MN. In 1967, they moved to Harwood, ND where she fulfilled her dream of having a hobby farm with dairy cattle. In November of 2013, she moved off the farm and the last years were spent at the Elim Care Center.

Grace especially loved gardening and animals. She also enjoyed cooking and playing the harmonica and accordion. Most of all, she made a lasting impression with her sense of humor.

She is survived by her children: Howard (Cathy) Larson, Jamestown, Clementine (Brian) Buzick, Harwood and Ronald (Jackie) Larson, Harwood; daughter in-law, Patty Larson; grandchildren: Cori Larson, Josh (Stephanie) Larson, Jon (Lara) Larson, Katrina (Rich) Hamm, Angie (Chad) Urhammer, Howard Larson, Jr., Chelce (Ben) Detert, Cinder Buzick, Stephanie (Jim) Peterson, Gregory (Emily) Larson, Jessica (Davis) Dube; great grandchildren: Dakota Maker, Garrett & Easton Larson, Rachel and Abigail Larson, Kaizer and Kelsey Geigle, Dillen and Justin Urhammer and Harlynn Peterson; along with a sister, Ruth Klein, AL.

Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald; son, Daniel: sisters, Lois, Dorothy, Myra, Eunice and Roxy; grandson, Zachary Larson; and great granddaughters, Emma, Samantha and Annadale.

Funeral: Saturday, April 14, 2108 at 2 PM at West Funeral Home Chapel, West Fargo with visitation one hour prior.
