Glenmore Gust

Glenmore Gust, 81, Alice, ND died on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Elim Care Center, Fargo, ND.

Glenmore was born June 6, 1937 Embden, ND to Richard and Grace (Jahke) Gust. He attended school at Embden and then helped on the family farm for several years. In 1955, he enlisted in the US Army and spent two years in France. He then returned to farm with his father. Glenmore married Laynette M. Mueller on April 23, 1976 in Fargo. They lived moved into Alice and he continued to farm until 2013. Laynette passed away on Sept. 20, 2002.

He enjoyed gardening, cars, auction sales, driving around checking crops and a good visit at the Embden Grain Co. or Farmers Union in Embden.

Glenmore is survived by a sister-in-law, Jeanette Gust and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Laynette; parents, Richard and Grace; sisters, Laverne (Clarence) Kresse and Alice (Kenneth) Lindemann; and brothers, Alvar “Bud” (Betty) Gust and Orvin Gust.

Funeral:   Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 7 PM at West Funeral Home Chapel, West Fargo, ND with visitation from 5 to 7 PM.

Burial: Tabor Cemetery, rural Embden.
