Eileen Cameron

Eileen Cameron, age 91, of West Fargo, ND, died Wednesday, September 19, 2018, in Bethany on University, Fargo, ND.

Eileen Ruth Louze was born March 13, 1927, in Thief River Falls, MN, the daughter of Neary and Hilda (Nelson) Louze.  She grew up in Thief River Falls and graduated from Thief River Falls High School in 1945.   On November 7, 1948, Eileen was united in marriage to Robert L. Cameron in Thief River Falls.   They lived in Fargo and Erie, ND, prior to moving to Ada, MN in 1953 where they raised their family.  While living there, Eileen worked in the Norman County Court House in the County Assessor’s office.    They moved to Moorhead, MN in 2007, and Robert died in 2008.   Eileen later moved to Sheyenne Crossings in West Fargo. 

She enjoyed ceramics, quilting, reading, and sewing.  Eileen and Robert had also enjoyed traveling over the years.   She was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church in Ada.

She is survived by her children, Linda Bender, Lewiston, ID, Barbara (Brad) Anderson, Northfield, MN, Connie (Doug) Jenson, West Fargo, ND, James Cameron, Kansas City, KS; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; a sister Dorothy Berglund, Minneapolis, MN; and a sister-in-law, Beth Moore, Arthur, ND.

Eileen was preceded in death by her husband, and one sister, Sharon Mitterling. 

FUNERAL SERVICE:   11AM Tuesday, September 25, 2018, in West Funeral Home & Life Tribute Center, West Fargo.

VISITATION:   Held one hour prior to her service

BURIAL:   Erie (ND) Cemetery
