Dusty Siverson, 43, Casselton, ND died on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2019 at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND from a spontaneous brain bleed.
Dustin Jon Siverson was born Dec. 8, 1975 in Fargo to John and Sylvia (Freitag) Siverson. He grew up in Casselton and graduated from Central Cass High School. Dusty continued his schooling at Mayville State University. He then worked at Cashwise in Moorhead, MN and later Republic National Wholesale Liquor in Fargo. Dusty was currently working for the City of Casselton in Public Works.
Dusty married Becky Blixt on May 31, 2003 in Casselton. Dusty’s life revolved around his girls and was proud of everything they took part in. Nothing was more important than spending time watching them participate in their sports. Dusty enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, playing softball, golfing and hunting. Dusty was a simple guy who wanted nothing but gave everything. He will be missed by many.
Dusty leaves behind his wife, Becky and two daughters, Taylor and Olivia; parents, John and Sylvia Siverson, all of Casselton; sister, Jamie (Andrew) Gegelman of Jamestown, ND and their children, Hunter, Griffin and Becker; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and the Blixt family on Becky’s side.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Lester and Vera Siverson, Evan and Lorina Freitag, and father-in-law, Gary Blixt.
Visitation: Sunday, Oct. 20, 2019 from 2 to 4 PM with a prayer service at 4 PM at Martin’s Lutheran Church, Casselton.
Funeral: Monday, Oct. 21 at 2 PM at Martin’s Lutheran Church with visitation one hour prior. Please feel free to dress casual.
Burial: Casselton Cemetery.
