Dorothy L. Iverson passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Sanford Care Center, Hillsboro, ND.
Dorothy Loraine Kleven was born March 15, 1929 near Sutton, ND, the daughter of Anton and Marian (Anderson) Kleven. After graduating from high school, she worked at the Fargo Bus Depot until marrying Bernard Iverson on February 18, 1954. They lived in Cooperstown, Sutton, and Casselton before moving to Amenia, ND where she resided until going into the nursing home.
Dorothy was a member of Martin’s Lutheran Church, Casselton, was involved in home makers, and was an avid bowler. Dorothy enjoyed playing cards, board games, bingo, and occasional trips to the casino. She loved her children and grandchildren. She also had a strong faith and held her friends and family dear to her heart.
Dorothy is survived by her daughters Connie, of West Fargo, and Darby (Wayne) Harles, of Lidgerwood, ND and son Stacey Iverson, of Fargo, ND, a sister-in-law Lavonne Black, of Spokane, WA, and her grandchildren Seth, Wyatt, and Kaylee Jo.
Special thank you to all those at both Good Samaritan, Arthur, ND and Sanford Care Center, Hillsboro who took special care of Dorothy during her stay.
Funeral: Monday, January 29, 2018 at 10 AM at West Funeral Home, Casselton, ND with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Burial: Mabel Lutheran Cemetery, Sutton, ND at a later date.
