Donna Sheldon

     Donna L. Sheldon, 81 of Fargo, died Thursday, January 24, 2019, at Eventide Fargo.

     Donna Lou Sheldon was born June 6, 1937, at Oakes, ND, the daughter of Donald and Myrna (Brovold) Supler.  She was raised on a farm near Verona, ND, and graduated from high school in Valley City, ND.  Donna graduated from Interstate Business College in Fargo and was employed in the Extension service at North Dakota State University. On June 8, 1958, she married Robert Sheldon in Verona, ND.  They lived on a farm near Wheatland, ND.  Donna was employed many years as the cook at the Wheatland School.  Following retirement, in 1998, the couple moved to Wilmington, North Carolina and eventually moving to Fargo in 2005. Robert passed away June 10, 2013.

     Donna enjoyed crocheting Afghans, baking and canned many, many jars of fruits and vegetables.  Her greatest love was being a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

     She was preceded in death by her parents; husband:  Robert;  daughter:  Kimberly Lou Vetter; infant daughter, Brett Beverly Sheldon and a brother: Douglas Supler.

     Donna is survived by a daughter: Tamara Kay (Daryl) Erdmann of West Fargo;  son-in-law:  Ronald Vetter of Wilmington, NC;  grandchildren:  Amanda, Paul (Hannah) and Daryl (Kaitlin); great-grandchildren, Britney, Austin, Leila and Juniper; sister:  Sandy (Harlan) Volk of Casselton; a brother:  Donald (Kathy) Supler of Cass Lake, MN;  many nieces and nephews.

Visitation from 1 to 2 p.m.  Friday, February 1, 2018, West Funeral Home and Life Tribute Center in West Fargo

Funeral:  2 p.m. funeral  Friday in the funeral home

Burial:    Wheatland Cemetery, Wheatland, ND.
