Delores Lindemann

Delores Lindemann, 85, Fargo, ND died on Friday, Aug. 10, 2018 at Bethany on University in Fargo.

Delores P. Dewald was born Sept. 10, 1932 on the family farm near Hosmer, SD to August and Martha (Kittock) Dewald. She grew up and attended school at Edmunds County, SD. She proudly spoke of the time she was the town’s fastest runner. She won a nickle in a Hosmer footrace. Delores married Gideon Lindemann on October 3, 1948 at Hosmer. They farmed near Eureka, SD for five years before moving to West Fargo in 1953. She did house cleaning in the area for many years. Delores and Gideon also made crafts and sold them at craft fairs.

Delores enjoyed playing cards, word searches, dancing, singing, crafting and the occasional trip to the casino.

She is survived by two sons, Gene (Lucy) of Fargo and Gary (Tess) of West Fargo; three grandchildren, Bradley (Jennifer), Jessica and Ashley; step granddaughter, Katy Weaver; two step great grandchildren, Laura and Noah Bolgrean;  sister-in-law, Lora Dewald of Sioux Falls, SD and several nieces and nephews.

Delores was preceded in death by her husband, Gideon; daughter-in-law, Evonne; and three siblings, Alma (James) Vetch, Lorraine (Louis) Pulfrey and Clarence Dewald.

Visitation:  Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2018 from 6 to 8 PM at West Funeral Home, West Fargo.

Funeral: Wednesday, Aug. 15 at 11 AM at Faith†Journey Lutheran Church, 127 2nd  Ave. E., West Fargo with visitation one hour prior.

Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo.
