Darren Bercier

Darren Michael Bercier was born May 2, 1967, the son of Byron and Avonne (Storseth) Bercier in San Francisco, California.  He grew up in West Fargo.  He spent many summers at his Grandpa Art & Grandma Alice’s farm, where he came to love the outdoors.  Darren loved to hunt and fish, and especially enjoyed those activities with his family.  He enjoyed many trips with his uncles Gary, Gerard, and Rick and later with his children.  Darren also had a soft spot for dogs…his last was Lacy. 

Darren passed away Friday, July 26, 2019, at Essentia Health in Fargo with his family at his side.

He is survived by his daughter Makayla Bercier, his son & daughter-in-law Seth and Melissa Bercier, and their son Reid, Darren’s only grandchild.  He also leaves his mother Avonne, his father Byron (Deb), his sisters Jodi (JimBob) Holmes, Alicia (Adam) Bercier, his brother Ross (Jackie) Bercier, grandmother Frances Bercier, and many uncles, aunts, nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Art & Alice Storseth, and Bert Bercier.

Darren will be missed so much by his family and friends.

Celebration of Life:  9 AM Saturday August 10, 2019, in West Funeral Home & Life Tribute Center, West Fargo.

Visitation:   Held one hour prior to his service

Final Resting Place:   St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, rural Williston, ND
