Curtis Kristofitz

Curtis Kristofitz, a longtime resident of St. Louis MO, died September 2, 2017 at the age of 81years.

Curt grew up in Fargo, ND. He graduated from Fargo Central High School in 1953 and received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from NDSU in 1960. He was employed by the Veteran’s Administration Hospital System as a civil engineer. He spent the last 21 years of his 34-year career with the VA Medical Center in St. Louis retiring in 1994.  He remained in St. Louis during his retirement years. Golfing and bowling were two of his favorite activities.

Curt is survived by his three sons; Brian (Amy), Tucson AZ; Gary, Columbia Heights MN; and Dale (Becca), Circle Pines, MN as well as 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters; Carol (Jerry) Smith West Fargo ND and Betty Kraft Escondido CA, sister in-law Coleen Kristofitz Duncanville TX, numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Charles and Astrid Kristofitz; brothers; Donald  Kristofitz and David Kristofitz.
