I'm very sorry for your loss. I went to school with Cory in Surrey. He was a couple of years older than me, but I had some of the same classes as him in school, and we hung around with some of the same people ... he was a great guy, and will surely be missed.

So saddened to read of Cory's passing. The loss of a husband, father, protector and breadwinner is hard to deal with , but I express kind words of comfort and strength. Take courage and rely on our Creator who is willing to assist as expressed at Isaiah 41: 10, 13. Look forward to the time when families will be reunited again. Jane and the entire Hjelden Family,
I have so many memories of Cory, he was one of the GREAT ones. We had a lot of laughs over the years, he will be so missed. Even though we had lost touch over the years I still consider him one of my greatest friends and I am so lucky to have had him as a part of my live. Love and prayers to you all.

I first met Cory while we were working at SunMart 115 in Fargo. I really enjoyed my time working with him and again later at SunMart 105. I loved talking about the Vikings with him and fantasy football and baseball. I admired Cory for his wit, personality, and the way he conducted himself. I will pray for the family.
