Christy Hardin Lay

 Christy (Hardin) Lay, 58 of Hillsboro, Texas passed away on May 3, 2018 at Hillsboro Regional Hospital, Hillsboro, TX.

Christy Lay Hardin was born on March 23, 1960 in Seattle WA to Miles. C. Lay and Arlene Heinz.

Christy lived in West Fargo and then moved to Burleson, TX graduating from Burleson High School in 1978.

Christy was very artistic, had an outgoing personality and led a very simple life surrounded by nature, rivers and lakes. She loved animals and had a Vet tech permit in order to help injured animals heal.

Christy is survived by her brother: Steve Lay of Wheeler TX, Aunts: Beverly Marotzke, Jeanette Gust, Joyce Benson, all of West Fargo. Uncles: Donald Heinz, Benson, Arkansas & Bradley (Judy) Heinz, West Fargo along with many cousins.

Christy was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial Service: Saturday, May 12, 2018 2pm, West Funeral Home Chapel, West Fargo.

Burial: Alice Community Cemetery, Alice ND
