Charles “Charlie” Edward Brandt died unexpectedly at his home in West Fargo, ND on May 21, 2019 at the age of 62.
Charlie was born on August 19, 1956, in Milwaukee, WI to Carl and Vivian Brandt. He graduated from Northland Pines High School, Eagle River WI in 1975. He married Mary Jo Tourdot on June 29, 1987. He worked as a window sales representative for Norco Windows and they relocated to Alexandria, MN in December 1987, where they made their home on the lake. In 2004, he began working as an independent sales representative for Hayfield Windows. He loved the window business. In 2014, they moved to West Fargo, ND where they currently lived.
Charlie loved traveling to spend time with his children and their spouses He enjoyed electronics; custom stereo in the automobiles as well at home. He was an avid NASCAR and NHRA Drag Racing fan. He enjoyed his time watching the races on TV, but really enjoyed the trips to the track. Football season was dedicated to watching the Green Bay Packers. .
Charlie is survived by his wife: Mary Jo of West Fargo ND; daughter: Ashleigh Peters and son-in-law: Jordon Peters of Winston-Salem, NC; son: Cody Brandt and daughter-in-law: Paula Duarte of Woodbury MN; sister: Brenda Couey and brother-in-law: Bud Couey of Eagle River, WI; father and mother-in-law: Richard and Erna Tourdot of Brooklyn, WI; brothers-in-law: Mike Tourdot of Albany, WI, and Paul Tourdot and Danielle of Madison, WI; sisters-in-law: Pam Tourdot and Kat Veterlli of Monroe WI; nieces: Trisha Tourdot of Madison, WI and Angelique Tourdot of Oregon, WI.
He was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Vivian Brandt of Eagle River, WI.
Celebration of life: 1:30 p.m. Thursday, July 18, 2019, at the Albany Lion’s Club in Albany, WI, with Ron Fruit officiating. A reception will follow the service.
Visitation: starting at 1 PM prior to the service
