Brandon Niles

Brandon Jack Niles, 23, West Fargo, ND passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, ND.

Brandon was born on November 24, 1995 in Phoenix, AZ to Randy and Mary Niles. He moved to West Fargo, ND at the age of 7 where he attended Westside Elementary School and eventually graduated as a Packer from West Fargo High School in 2014. He went on to study at various area colleges, but struggled to figure out what he wanted to do with his life. In January of 2017, Brandon found his calling when he started working as a psych tech at Prairie St. Johns in Fargo. The love of his job inspired him to pursue nursing in the mental health field so that he could continue to help troubled children at a higher level. He continued his work at Prairie as well as to pursue his degree until the time of his passing. 

Brandon was known for his fun and goofy sense of humor. He loved movies and super heroes, Deadpool being his favorite, as well as playing video games, listening to music, and playing basketball. Brandon was an incredibly sensitive person with a huge heart. He cherished the friendships of his childhood best friends, Torehn and Austin. He loved his parents and brothers, but what he adored most was being Superman to his two sisters and to his niece. Brandon was also a huge animal lover. He once said, "I will take a four-legged animal over most two-legged ones...". During his life he learned unconditional love from his cat, Creepy, his dogs, Autumn, Ciara and his current fur-buddy, Oakley.

Brandon is survived by his parents: Mary (Mark) Tuttle of West Fargo, Randy (Kelly) Niles of West Fargo, his sister, MaryJo Nelson, and niece, Chaplynn Salgado Nelson of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, sister, Grace Ward, of West Fargo and brothers, Steven and Chris Tuttle, both of Fargo.

Other survivors include his grandparents:Marylin Nelson of Horace, ND, Jack (Cheryl) Niles of Phoenix, AZ, Jean (David) Bryant of Lake Charles, LA, Don (Barb) Grant of Fargo, ND, Pat (Gaylen) Tuttle of Valmeyer, Ill., along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like a donation to go to American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, 1121 4th Ave. S, Fargo, ND 58102.

Visitation: Friday, December 7, 2018 from 12 to 1 PM at West Funeral Home, West Fargo.

Memorial Service: Friday, December 7, 2018 at 1 PM at West Funeral Home, West Fargo.
