Betty Engbrecht

Betty Engbrecht, age 82, of Bullhead City, AZ, formerly West Fargo, ND, died Wednesday, September 18, 2019 in Bullhead City.

Betty Jeane Roesler was born on October 13, l936 in Jamestown, North Dakota to Peter and Martha (Graf) Roesler.  She attended schools in Jamestown and graduated from Jamestown High School in l954. After gradation she worked at First James River National Bank and at The Anne Carlson School.

On August 3rd l957 she was married to John V. Engbrecht in Jamestown.  They lived in McClusky, N.D. for one year before moving to West Fargo.  In West Fargo she was employed by West Fargo State Bank, West Fargo Medical Center and at The Prescription Shop as a bookkeeper for many years.

She was a soloist at many weddings and funerals during her younger years. Betty was a charter member of Flame of Faith United Methodist church in West Fargo.  More recently she was a member of Hope United Methodist church in Bullhead City, Az. 

Betty is survived by her husband John, son Bruce (Becky), two granddaughters Amber Richards & Kayla Warner, and one great grandson Easton Larson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Ike and Clarence, sisters Alice Morehouse, Iva Aldinger, Irene Krubeck,  and her two sons, John Mark and Gary.

Her Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Friday,  October 18, 2019 at West Funeral Home & Life Tribute Center, West Fargo, with Visitation held one hour prior to the service.  Rev. Sara McManus of Flame of Faith UMC, West Fargo will officiate.

Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo.
