Benadene Dixie (Miller) Snyder, 74, of Fargo, ND was called home to Heaven May 6th, 2019 while surrounded by her loving family.
Benadene was born April 8th, 1945 in Sheldon, Iowa to Charles and Tillie (Visser) Miller. Upon graduating high school in 1963, Benadene was hired and worked at Bell Telephone Company. During this time, Benadene met her future loving husband William “Bill” Snyder and they united in marriage on December 4th, 1965 at the Little Brown Church in the Vale located in Nashua, Iowa. Benadene moved to Sanborn, Iowa with Bill to begin their family and had two loving daughters. In 1976, Bill and Benadene moved their family to Mandan, ND when Bill accepted new employment. Benadene continued to create a loving and warm home for her family and in 1986, they again moved for another employment opportunity which brought them to Fargo, ND. Benadene spent 53 wonderful years married to Bill and together they raised their two daughters. Throughout the years, and along with Benadene’s everlasting faith and involvement in her church, her pleasures in life were being a mother to her two daughters, crocheting, reading, and to the benefit of her guests, friends, and family, baking goodies. Benadene worked at SuperValu, Tami’s Angels and Fleet Farm but her favorite career was taking care of her family. During the last 4 years, Benadene cherished spending time with her granddaughter, Josephine who brought her joy.
Benadene is survived and adored by her husband, Bill Snyder, Fargo, ND; children Monica (John) Edgerly of West Fargo, ND, Holly (Steve) Yttredahl of Fargo, ND, granddaughter Josephine Yttredahl; by siblings Armetta Dawson, Holstein, IA, Tillie (Duane) Staedtler of Holstein, IA; by family in-laws Delmar Johnson, Holstein, IA, Dave (Carrie) Snyder, Fort Lupton, CO and Edie Stanley, Minneapolis, MN.
