Sharon Mulske Obituary

Sharon Mae (Klipfel) Mulske, age 77, of West Fargo, ND, passed away quietly and peacefully at the Sanford Fargo Hospice House, in the early morning hours of March 8th, 2024.

She was the oldest of 4 girls, born July 18th, 1946 to her parents, Oscar and Emily (Bendewald) Klipfel. She was raised and received her elementary and high school education in Ashley, ND. After graduation, she completed a cosmetology education at the Beauty College in Jamestown, N.D.

Upon graduation, she worked under the tutelage of Dave Kalstrom, eventually owning and operating Sharon’s Beauty Salon in Ashley for numerous years. The business was located on Main Street, enjoying a long business relationship with the citizens of McIntosh County. She sold the business after 18 years and moved to West Fargo to begin her new married life.

On August 18, 1984, she married Bruno Mulske, Jr. and they made their home in West Fargo, ND, where she resided until her death. She accepted employment at Hardy’s Restaurant and eventually, in 1990, accepted employment at McDonalds in West Fargo. She always served her customers with a friendly attitude and a smile on her face. She was a fiercely loyal and hard-working employee receiving many accolades for her excellent customer service.

Upon retirement, Sharon was able to enjoy her hobbies of gardening and yard work. She had a passion for flowers and always kept an immaculate yard. She dearly loved watching HGTV, especially “Lets Make a Deal”, and it was rare that she missed an episode. She enjoyed conversing and keeping Bruno company as he worked on various wood working and machinery projects. Perhaps her greatest joy was sitting in the backyard with Bruno as they relaxed and enjoyed their handiwork in their beautiful back yard.

Sharon was preceded in death by her husband Bruno of 37 years; parents, Oscar Klipfel, Cyrus and Emily Pfeifle, sister and brother-in-law, Carol (Klipfel) and Arlyn Irion; in-laws, Bruno Sr. and Natalia (Hoffert) Mulske; brothers-in-law; Dennis Mulske, Roy Mulske, Michael Kautzman and John Bambenek; sisters-in-law, Rita Bambenek and Karen Kautzman, and niece Laurie Mulske.

Her surviving siblings include sisters: Wanda (Klipfel) Teply and husband Dave of Cape Coral, Florida and Victoria (Klipfel) Melchior and husband Jeff of Fargo, ND. brothers-in-law: Jim and Betty Mulske, Champlin, MN, Todd Mulske, Cleveland, ND;  five sisters-in-law: Josephine and Dennis Weichel, Bismarck, ND, Vickie and Larry Bambenek, Minot, ND,  Joan and Daniel Meuchel, Minot, ND, Sandy and Philip Kerzman, Bismarck, ND, Carol and Paul Anderst, Bismarck, ND, and sister-in-law, Cleone Mulske of Hazelton, ND,  along with numerous nieces and nephews.
