Mary Cossette

Mary Cossette, 72, of Moorhead, MN, died Thursday, March 23, 2017, at the Moorhead Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center,  Moorhead.

   Mary Kathryn Cossette was born July 15, 1944, in St. Ansgar Hospital in Moorhead, MN to Jesse and Mildred (Hagle) Boss.  She was raised in the area and graduated from high school.  Mary was united in marriage to Dennis Cossette, June 26, 1965 in Fargo.  She was employed at Kresge Co. Department Store in Fargo, Hornbacher’s in Moorhead and also had been, the organist for a few years, at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Fargo.  Dennis died in 1986.

   Mary enjoyed writing poetry and playing with her grandchildren. 

   Grateful for having shared in her life are her children:  Dean (Andrea) Cossette of Fargo,  Julie (Paul) Dutt of Fargo,  Darren (Amy) Cossette of Horace, ND,  Lisa Miller of Fargo and Donny (Teresa) Cossette of Moorhead;  14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

   Mary was preceded in death by her parents;  husband:  Dennis;  son-in-law:  Tyrone Miller;  brothers:  Lee and Dale Boss.

Funeral Service:  Thursday, March 30, 2017, 11 a.m. at West Funeral Home Chapel in West Fargo.

Visitation:  An hour prior to the funeral

Burial:  Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo
