Kelson Bush

   Kelson William Bush, age 42, passed away unexpectedly at home on September 2, 2017 in Yuma, AZ. He was born on June 28, 1975 in Wausau, WI to parents Tim and Marilyn Bush. He was the youngest of three with two sisters Angie and Lisa.

   Kelson’s education began in Schofield, WI, 3 years in  Holland, MI and he graduated from South High in Fargo, ND in 1994.  After high school he spent one year studying at Northwestern College in Orange City IA.  In the years between college at Northwestern and enrolling in NDSU, he worked, traveled and spent time working at Yellowstone National Park. He graduated from NDSU with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Education Science in 2004. Following graduation he accepted a position teaching high school biology in San Luis, AZ and moved to Yuma. After several years of teaching, he changed direction and spent years in North Dakota, Colorado and West Virginia  researching land ownership  for oil and gas rights. During this time he also earned his certificate as Nursing Assistant from Arizona Western College. This August he began teaching high school biology at Kofa High School in Yuma.

   Kelson was a quiet person with those outside his circle of friends and sisters. He was very close to his friends and kept in touch with them through the years. He had many interests and projects; skateboarding, Star Wars, track, traveling, hiking, camping, fishing, playing cards and poker, music, teaching biology, southwest plants, animals and birds, geology, the Twins and Diamondbacks; writing poetry, writing  a cartoon series and photography. He is going to be missed.

   Kelson is survived by his parents Tim and Marilyn Bush; sisters, Angela (Mick) Dullea, Lisa (Kirk) Roth; grandmother  Audrey Bush,  aunts Wendy Thiel, Claudia Bush; uncle; Eric Bush,  aunt and uncle Michael and Sandra Hendrickson, cousins, Kari Yeater, Kris Hendrickson, Erick Hendrickson, Derek Thiel; nephews Michael, Josh and Adam Dullea, Bennett Roth, niece, Sidney Roth; great niece, Natalie Dullea, great nephew, Nolan Dullea, special friend, Al Morlock and many other friends and associates.

   Preceding  Kelson in death are Pete and Marian Parisi, grandparents; Thomas Bush, grandfather; David Thiel, uncle in-law and Don Landers, marriage partner.
