Judith Antoine, 72, Casselton, ND died on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017 at Essentia Health, Fargo, ND.

Judith Kay Kartes was born Jan. 27, 1945 in Langdon, ND to Frank J. and Olivia J. (Hell) Kartes. She attended grade school at Mount Carmel, ND and graduated from St. Alphonsus High School in Langdon, ND. She moved to Minneapolis, MN where she attended beauty school. In 1970, Judith married R.J. “Tony” Antoine. They were married for 25 years, in that period of time they lived in Minneapolis and then moved to Casselton, ND where they raised three children. They owned and operated Antoine Chevrolet, AMS Mfg & Sales and AMS Answering Service. She later worked at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo and did homebound cosmetology.

Judith loved her family, Jesus, grandchildren (especially babies) and kitties. She enjoyed Bible studies and debate over religion and politics.

She is survived by three children, Andrew of Houston, TX, Peter (Tanisha) of Horace, ND and Michelle of Rolette, ND; 5 grandchildren, Elisha, Reaiah, Micah, Jirah and Matthias; 5 siblings, Gloria Johnson, Fargo, Carl (Ivy) Kartes, Walhalla, ND, Ben (Marie) Kartes, Seattle, WA, Gary (Gloria) Kartes, Seattle and Lee (Linda) Kartes, Tacoma, WA; and several nieces and nephews.

Judith was preceded in death by her parents and 6 siblings, Ivadell Gapp, Betty Loreth, Parnell Kartes, Pat Kartes, Darrell Kartes and Michael Kartes.

Funeral:  Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017 at 2:30 PM with visitation from 2 to 2:30 PM at Heartland Community Church, 1751 Main Ave. E., West Fargo.

Interment: Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery.
