Jo Ann Radebaugh passed away December 22, 2017 at the age of 81 under Hospice care at Eventide Fargo and surrounded by her loving family.

Jo Ann Elliott was born July 2, 1936, the first-born of John and Evelyn Elliott.  She grew up in Grandin, ND and graduated from high school there in 1954.  Jo met the love her life, C. Wayne Radebaugh in grade school and they married on October 30, 1954.  They have been partners ever since, alternating the role of caregiver between them for over 63 years.

Besides being the strong wife of a farmer and a proud mom, Jo was active in Grandin Presbyterian Church, the school board, and served as the elected Mayor of Grandin.  Once all three kids were in school, she went to work as a self-taught bookkeeper.  Most notably, she started her long bookkeeping career at Grandin Manufacturing and eventually retired from Harley-Davidson of Fargo.

Jo and Wayne moved to West Fargo, ND in 1998, where they enjoyed travel, Munson Lake time with family and friends, and retirement.

Jo is survived by her husband, Wayne, Fargo; their children: Billie Jo Hayes (Mark), Harwood, ND; Rebecca Barker (Greg), West Fargo, ND; David Radebaugh (Emily Shorty), Fargo, ND.  She is also survived by six grandchildren:  Andrew Barker (Meagan), Detroit Lakes, MN; Jennifer Boub (Michael), West Fargo, ND; Shannon Hayes, Minneapolis, MN; Mallory Hayes, Minneapolis, MN; Elliott Radebaugh, Fargo, ND; Connor Radebaugh, Fargo, ND; five great-grandchildren:  Dillon and Preslee Barker; Jack, Caroline, and Estley Boub; her brother Jim Elliott (Donna); her sister Jan Elliott (Dave Parks); and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Jo is preceded in death by her parents, John and Evelyn Elliott, her brother Johnny, her sister Jean Anderson, her parents-in-law, Greer and Esther Radebaugh, her sister-in-law Jean Kalindi Radebaugh, and her brothers-in-law Allen Anderson and John Gowenlock.

Visitation will be at 9:00 am, Wednesday, Dec. 27, followed by a memorial service at 10:00 am, at West Funeral Home, West Fargo.

If you wish to honor Jo, please send a donation to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (https://www.michaeljfox.org/get-involved/donation2.php) or Hospice of the Red River Valley (http://www.hrrv.org/giving/memorial-and-tribute-gifts/).

Rest in peace, our strong wife, mom, grandma, and role model.  We love you and miss you.
