Helen Strebig

Helen D. Strebig, 84, Crookston, MN formerly of East Grand Forks, MN died on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at RiverView Care Center, Crookston.

She was born to Gunder and Agness Hanson on April 4, 1933 in Perth, ND.  Helen worked a variety of jobs including Fargo Laundry and later in life as a housekeeper in East Grand Forks.  She loved animals and listening to country music.

Helen is survived by her children: David (Tammie), of West Fargo, ND, Steven, of Bersford, SD, Jeffrey (Doris), of Haywarden, IA, James, of West Fargo, ND, Tim (Mary), of Oregon, Lisa, of Oregon, and Tammy (Robert), of Walcott, ND along with 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, sisters, and baby daughter Shannon.

The family would like to thank the RiverView Care staff and Hospice of the Red River Valley for all the care and support they have given.

Funeral service: Monday, November 13, 2017 at 7 PM at West Funeral Home, West Fargo with visitation one hour prior to the service. 

Burial: Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 1 PM at Horace Cemetery, Horace, ND.
