H. Harold Taylor, 92, West Fargo, ND died on Monday, March 5, 2018 at his home with family and Hospice of the RRV.
Harold was born Nov. 19, 1925 at Fromberg, Montana to Howard and Della Taylor. Harold served in World War II from the 8th of March, 1944 to the 16th of May, 1946. He was a top turret gunner on a Lockheed Ventura B37 airplane. Harold was awarded the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, the World War II Victory Medal and the American Campaign Medal. Harold married June Kellerman on January 21, 1950. They lived most of their married life in Fargo, ND. He retired from Meinecke-Johnson in 1990 for 30 plus years. Harold married Myra Ternes on April 29, 2009. They lived in West Fargo. Harold was a beloved life member of the VFW Post 7564 in West Fargo and was also a member of the American Legion for 55 years.
Harold is survived by his wife, Myra; her 3 sons; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild and their families; 2 brothers, Warren and Cecil (Mary Lynn) Taylor; 1 sister-in-law, Mary Jane and numerous nieces and nephews.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Della; sister, Mary; 5 brothers, Sid, Jim, Don, Duane and Dean and by his first wife, June.

Funeral: Friday, March 9, 2018 at 2 PM at West Funeral Home Chapel, West Fargo with reception to follow at the West Fargo VFW.
Burial: Watson Cemetery, rural Leonard, ND at a later date.
