Donald G Schulz

Donald Schulz, 80, Fargo, (formerly of Bismarck, ND) passed away on Sunday, June 18th, at Sanford Palliative Care Unit in Fargo. 

Donald was born August 5, 1936, in Hebron, North Dakota to Alex and Elizabeth (Mees) Schulz and attended school in Zap, North Dakota.  He married Orlene Mohl on November 8, 1959.  Donald was a lineman for Western Area Power Administration for more than 25 years. After he retired he worked for the Bismarck Park and Recreation Department. 

Donald is survived by his three sons, Michael (Mary) Schulz, Mesa, AZ, Randy (Kristi) Schulz, West Fargo, ND; Bryan (Lisa) Schulz, West Fargo, ND; six grandchildren, Keaton (Stacey) Schulz, Mesa, AZ, Griffin Schulz, Mesa, AZ, Robby Odegard, Williston, ND, Kayla Odegard, Fargo, ND, Karli and Katie Schulz, West Fargo, ND; one great-grandson, Callen Schulz, Mesa, AZ; one sister-in-law, Edna Cox, Rome, GA; a brother-in-law Harold Boeckel, Battle Lake, MN; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, his parents and 3 siblings.

Memorial Service: Friday, June 23, 2017 at 10:30 AM at West Funeral Home Chapel, West Fargo, ND with visitation one hour prior.

The family is requesting that no flowers be sent.
