I am so sorry to hear about Donnie. I always remember him being a man of few words, but with the good Norwegian blood; that came honestly. I also remember Gloria and Donnie talking Norwegian to each other and laughing. I heard stories of them sitting on the steps together and talking Norwegian as small children and having to learn to speak English before starting school. I just bet they are having a good Norwegian talk now and laughing.

My family and I want too offer our deepest sympathy on reading of the sad, untimely death of Don. May memories of happy times together and the resurrection hope we share of seeing our loved ones again as Jesus promised at John 5:28&29 give you comfort during this time of sorrow.

It was so sad when to hear about Donnie's passing. We enjoyed conversations with him & Barb often when we still had our shop. For me, it was always a 'catch-up' time. It's at moments like this I go back and relive some younger years and remember all the good times back in May-Port area with the whole bunch of you. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of his family. It's been a sad 2017 for us. May God give every one of you comfort during the struggles you now go through. Helen (Carlson) Cook
