Dale Betz

Lyle "Dale" Betz, 57, West Fargo, ND,  died Monday, July 10, 2017, at Sanford Hospital in Fargo.

Dale Betz was born September 8, 1959, in Fargo, ND to Lyle and Clara (Parisien) Betz.  He attended high school in West Fargo and then served several years in the Army.  Dale worked as a carpenter in the Fargo area many years and for a time in Oklahoma.   He was employed until ill health forced his retirement.

He enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, rebuilding furniture and raising dogs for others.  Dale was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in West Fargo.

Surviving are his children:  Kayla Betz, Aaron Betz & Chelsea Betz; his mother:  Clara DeBoer of Fargo;  sisters:  Janie Dalton of Minneapolis and Debbie (Darcy) Onsum of Perham, MN; half-brother:  Monte (Laura) De Boer of Norfolk, VA; nephew and nieces:  Kevin Dalton,  Catlin Dalton, George and Jack DeBoer and his service dog:  “Dog-Dog”.

Dale was preceded in death by his father:  Lyle E. Betz;  step-father:  Charles DeBoer and brother:  Ervin Lee Betz.

Committal Service: at a latter date in Holy Cross-North Cemetery, Fargo.
