Charles Rourke

Charlie Rourke, 76, West Fargo, ND died on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Vibra Hospital, Fargo, ND.

Charles Dennis Rourke was born Jan. 24, 1941 at Milnor, ND to Charles and Adeline (Williams) Rourke. At a young age, the family moved to Fargo where he attended school. Charlie married Judith Ann Parkhouse on August 20, 1960 in Fargo, ND. They lived in Fargo and West Fargo where they raised their four children. He worked for Asp Construction and later drove truck for 44 years retiring from Reliance Trucking in 2005.

Charlie was a family man and had a good old fashion sense of humor. He enjoyed socializing, visits with family and friends, dancing, BINGO and fishing.

Charlie is survived by four children, DaLayne “Dee” Belcourt, West Fargo, Carmen (Andy) Uline,  West Fargo, Randy (Elanda) Rourke, Fargo and Julee (Greg) Tuschscherer, West Fargo; 8 grandchildren, Chad, Blaine, Kimberly (Kirk), Geoffrey, Brena, Zaedyn, Jayden and Rayna; 6 great grandchildren, Tristan, Chase, Brady, Gavin, Landin and Gage; three siblings, Joann Erbstoesser, Jack (Marie) Rourke and Elaine (Gary) Wendt; mother-in-law, Betty Parkhouse and special friend, Darlene Brandvold; along with numerous nieces and nephews and extended close family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy in 2005; grandson, Matthew Charles Rourke; two brothers, Donnie and Pat; and brother-in-law, Jack Erbstoesser.

Memorial Service: Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 2 PM at West Funeral Home Chapel, West Fargo with visitation one hour prior and reception to follow.
