Bryon Botner
August 26, 2017Bryon Botner, 59, of Mapleton, ND, passed away from an aortic tear, Saturday, August 26, 2017, at Sanford Hospital in Fargo.
Bryon Keith Botner was born September 12, 1957, at LaMoure, ND, to Kenneth and Irene (Hurley) Botner. He spent his early years in the LaMoure and Gwinner, ND areas and graduated from the Sargent School in Gwinner.
Since 1986, Bryon has owned and operated Bryon’s Janitorial. He married Kathryn Botner, September 4, 2004 in Mapleton, ND.
Bryon enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson, attending many of the yearly events in Sturgis, SD, restoring Ford Mustangs and hanging out at his lake cabin.
Surviving are his wife: Kathryn; sons: Aaron Schulz of Wahpeton, ND and Jesse Botner of Moorhead, MN; grandchildren: Dillon and Andrew Schulz; siblings: Vivette Botner of Duluth, MN and Charles Botner of Phoenix, AZ; nieces: Kaitlyn Thompson of Mapleton and Chanae Thompson of Jamestown, ND; nephew: Sol Botner of Duluth, MN; half brother: Ladd Hendrickson; half sisters: Susan Loken and Becky Pegra all from Montana.
Bryon was preceded in death by his parents: Kenneth & Irene; brothers: Kenneth “Butch” Botner, Jr., Michael Botner, sisters and a brother-in-law: Patricia and Harold Thompson and Katherine Lyons.
Burial will be in High Prairie Cemetery, LaMoure, ND on a later date.
Visitation: 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church
