Bruce Brownlee

Bruce Brownlee, 87, of Fargo, ND, died Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND.

Bruce William Brownlee was born January 26, 1929 at Fargo, ND to William B. and Florence (Kepler) Brownlee.  He graduated from high school from American in Chicago.  Bruce served in the US Air Force during WWII and the Korean War.

He worked thirty eight years for Burlington Northern Railroad as a Yard Master in Breaking and Switching.  The last ten years of his railroad career he also worked for Lake Agassiz Nursery.  In 1995 he married Nancy Thomas at Prescott Valley, AZ. 

He is survived by his sister Joyce Meyer, Moorhead, MN and many nieces and nephews.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, a brother David, and sisters Marie Haigh and Georgia Popish.

Visitation: West Funeral Home Chapel, West Fargo, ND on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 5:30 until 7:00 PM.

Burial: Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Riverside Cemetery, Fargo, ND with military rites.
