Sending you my sympathies, girls. I know this isn't a tough time for you, but rest in the comfort of knowing she is at peace. She had the most beautiful smile and it fit the gentleness of her spirit. God bless you.

So sorry for your loss. Always remember that death is not an end, it is simply another step on a journey. May Brenda fare well on her journey.

Bunny and Jim opened their hearts and front door to me for years and always made me feel welcome and special. They provided me with a home away from home, and I will always remember their grace and generosity with love and affection.

My thoughts are with you all. We were blessed to have Bunny in our lives.

I was reading the morning paper when I saw her obituary posted. Brenda was my fourth grade teacher in Valley City, ND back in 1960. I think she was pregnant that year but at the age of 9, I don't believe I really paid attention. I have always remembered Brenda as one of my favorite teachers. I thought she was so beautiful and kind. I went on to become a teacher and retired last year after 43 years. My sympathies to her family.

I was sad to read of the passing of Brenda. I remember her from school and Community Presbyterian Church. Jim and Brenda were two of the nicest people you could ever meet. I believe that she went to high school with my dad Terry Spies and he also spoke highly of her. I will be thinking of your family.

Brenda is now holding hands with her best friend, Jim. He has been waiting at Heaven's Gate with a smile and a hug that is now for eternity. I know that Christ lives and he rejoices with his children as they come to him. Be at peace for Brenda is. Nancy J

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Death is never welcomed, but it seems to be something we all are accustomed too. Please be assured that the Bible promises that God will soon undo death (Revelation 21:3,4) and he promises in John 5:28,29 to resurrect our loved ones right here on earth. I hope these promises as well as your wonderful memories bring you comfort.
